There are countries one passes through, and others that invite a deeper commitment — places where one might choose to invest, settle, or simply experience a different quality of life. A slower pace, cleaner air, closer contact with nature, and a greater sense of purpose are increasingly what discerning buyers seek when they look beyond their own borders.

Across the global property market, the priorities of buyers and investors are shifting. There is a growing interest in residential projects and communities that actively support health, wellbeing, and quality of life. Traditional markers of luxury: generous square footage, elevated design and premium finishes, are no longer sufficient on their own for those seeking a truly complete living experience. The choice of home is increasingly tied to its capacity to provide an environment that supports both physical and mental health, and a way of life more directly connected to the natural world.
Qiddiya City is preparing to open Aquarabia, the largest water park in the Middle East and the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia. Opening on 23 April, the park marks a significant milestone for Qiddiya's emergence as a world-class destination for entertainment, sport, and culture. Spanning approximately 250,000 square metres, it offers an extensive range of water rides and experiences encompassing adventure, thrill, and relaxation, alongside restaurants, retail, and supporting facilities. Sustainability has been embedded throughout: more than 80% of waste will be recycled, and 100% of water used for irrigation and cooling will be recycled.
Saudi Arabia's luxury real estate narrative has, for years, belonged to two cities. Riyadh tells the story of capital-driven growth. Jeddah tells the story of Red Sea waterfront living and hospitality. Now a third narrative is taking shape along the Gulf coast, in Khobar and Dammam, where the Eastern Province is beginning to define its own position around branded residences, mixed-use coastal towers and large-scale waterfront masterplanning.
As part of its ongoing efforts to improve supply chain efficiency and support regional and international trade, Saudi Arabian Railways (SAR) has announced the launch of five integrated freight logistics corridors linking the ports of the Arabian Gulf with the central and northern regions of the Kingdom, and onwards to Red Sea ports and neighbouring countries to the north. Operating through a multimodal transport network combining road and rail, the corridors are designed to significantly improve the efficiency of freight movement between these destinations within record transit times.
