It represents a bridge between the Great Al-Nofouz Desert and the Rub’ al-Khali Desert, extending over an area of 45 thousand square kilometers, and an altitude between 300 to 600 meters above sea level. It also represents about 7 % of Sand dunes in Saudi Arabia.
