Autumn entertainment in Riyadh
Autumn sees a reemergence of people across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia return to the great outdoors to partake in activities which aren’t possible in the heat of the summer months. Desert camping, exploring the bountiful parks and gardens, mountain trips and visiting cities and historical sites are enjoyed by friends and families across the kingdom.
The capital city, Riyadh, has plenty on offer that attracts people not only from Saudi Arabia, but also international tourists. There are a variety of festivals and events which appeal to people far and wide. The Riyadh International Book Fair is one of the most notable events which is held at King Saud University from 28th September to 7th October and has participants from more than 32 different countries. The exhibition is rich in a variety of culture: poetry evenings, plays and concerts.
Riyadh is also hosting the fourth year of its most famous festival the Riyadh Season Festival which sees a celebration of the culture and civilization of the kingdom. The festival launches on 28th October and will be home to many varied events. For the first time ever in the Middle East there will be a Disney Castle to celebrate the centenary of its founding.
Football fans can also explore the Legends Museum, the largest football museum in the world, and festival goers can also enjoy the House of Hype, the largest virtual world on earth. Riyadh’s Seasonal festival is home to some of the most distinctive and unique experiences in the world.
The kingdom is expected to welcome many Saudi residents, and tourists, to celebrate these culturally unique and diverse Riyadh Nights and all they have to offer this autumn.
