The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is considered to be one of the cornerstones of the Middle East, which has made it a magnet for global investors and job seekers, especially in recent years. In Jeddah, the second largest city in the Kingdom, the residential neighbourhoods have been divided amongst those that are in proximity to vital centres of infrastructure such as King Fahd Hospital and King Abdulaziz University in the north, the older neighbourhoods of central Jeddah, and the quieter areas of the south.

For families seeking privacy, Dammam in the east of the Kingdom includes a diverse set of housing options that are, like those of Jeddah, also divided into three parts. The eastern neighborhoods of Dammam are linked to commercial and industrial activity due to the presence of the industrial zone and King Abdul Aziz Port, so it is more of a destination for those working in the industrial and commercial sectors. Central Dammam has the highest population density as it contains the city’s main commercial and tourist attractions, while western Dammam is more sparsely populated by comparison.
