The Red Sea is the world’s most ambitious regenerative tourism destination. It is being developed by Red Sea Global (RSG), a leading real estate developer that is committed to responsible and sustainable development.

Located off the western coastline of Saudi Arabia, the Red Sea will feature a total of 50 resorts with 8,000 rooms and over 1,000 residential properties spread across 22 islands and 6 inland sites. The entire project is expected to be completed in 2030.

About the Location

The Red Sea spans 28,000 square kilometres, which includes 200 km of Saudi Arabian coastline. It is made up of multiple island clusters, and only 1% of the total land area is being developed so that the remaining space can be conserved. With its golden sandy beaches, clear blue waters and acres of green mangroves, the Red Sea offers a beautiful and truly unique environment where the most incredible experiences can be enjoyed.

Another key component of the destination is Red Sea International Airport (RSI), which takes full advantage of the location - less than 8 hours’ flight for more than 80% of the global population. This makes it an ideal choice for visitors from all across the world. The airport is a 30-minute drive from Shura Island, the main hub of the Red Sea. A fleet of electric vehicles provides ground transport to the island.
